About Methley Park Hospital

Methley Park Hospital was opened in 1984 to offer the highest levels of medical treatment and personal care. It is situated in beautiful woodland grounds, close to the village of Methley. Located midway between Leeds and Castleford on a private road just a mile from the M62, between the M1 and A1 it offers easy access. The hospital is dedicated to delivering high quality clinical care to the local communities of Wakefield, Pontefract, Leeds, Castleford, Barnsley and Dewsbury but also much further afield as we receive patients both nationally and internationally for the expertise that the hospital offers.
The hospital prides itself not just on plastic surgery but on its wide range of services from diagnostic imaging and physiotherapy, to a one stop breast clinic, through to major orthopaedic procedures that are all provided by specialist teams of doctors and nurses in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Methley Park Hospital has recently opened a dedicated, modern Plastic Surgery Suite that has been specially designed with our cosmetic surgery patients needs in mind.
Working in partnership with first class consultants and recruiting the highest calibre of staff, Methley Park Hospital is committed to providing the best care and personal attention for all its patients. Many of the consultants who work with us are renowned specialists in their field. All are required to be on the specialist register of the General Medical Council and to satisfy stringent criteria to be eligible to practice at our hospital. We expect the same exacting standards from our nursing staff who are highly qualified and dedicated to looking after their patients in a sympathetic and professional manner. For ultimate reassurance, we have a fully trained team equipped to deal with medical emergencies 24 hours a day.
