Numerous Publications and Book Chapters on Plastic Surgery in general and Tissue Expansion. I have been working each year in Romania since 1990, and more recently in India. We have been able to operate on almost six hundred children with facial deformities (with a refreshing absence of bureaucracy and 'targets') and pay back some of the expense of my training, as well as training Surgeons and Nurses there. Training in Aesthetic Surgery since 1979 includes Facial Aesthetic and Rejuvenation Surgery, Breast and Abdominal Aesthetic Surgery, Liposculpture (since its introduction to the UK in 1983), Weight Reduction Surgery (bodylift, arm reduction, thigh lift etc). Facial rejuvenation Surgery may include appropriate type of facelift, upper and lower lid blepharoplasty, Endoscopic Browlift, Coleman fat grafting or lipofilling, facial liposculpture, facial peeling, dermal filling and Botox, and needs to be tailored to the individual. Breast Augmentation is tailored to plane (above or below muscle) and type of implant (round, teardrop, anatomical, high or low profile, polyurethane coated etc). Similar criteria of taking time and attention to detail apply for all procedures. Married, four grown up, but still expensive, children. Outside interests are planting trees and hedges, providing habitat for wildlife, and rationalising the David Attenborough /Jeremy Clarkson sides of my life. |
