Mr Paul Mohammed
 Mr. Paul Mohammed was born and grew up in Trinidad and Tobago. He obtained his medical degree at the University of thw West Indies (UWI) in 1989 and came to the UK in 1993 to further his surgical training.
He successfully completed the FRCS (Ed) in 1995 and started plastic surgery training. He has been a Specialist Registrar in Stevenage and Newcastle-upon-Tyne. In 2002 he gained the FRCSEd(Plast) and went on to spend an additional year as an Oncoplastic Breast Fellow dealing specifically with all aspects of breast surgery and breast cancer.
After this he was granted the Certificate of Completition of Specialist Training CCST and has been on the GMC register as a Plastic Surgeon.
Upon completion of training in 2003 he returned to Trinidad to develop plastic, reconstructive and burns surgery there. He was an Associate Lecturer in Surgery at UWI and served on the Board of the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society.
He journeyed back to the UK in 2007 and joined the Plastic Surgery team at Pinderfields General Hospital where he is now a Consultant with special interest in Breast Reconstruction. |
